Let us not forget, we have an enemy. One who is so devious and heartless that he would steal our lives in a moment without hesitation. A few days ago, I literally witnessed a good man (a young man, in his early 40’s) go to be with the Lord. He left behind a loving wife, and 3 beautiful, children (16, 13, 12). I watched their family and friends mourn over his untimely and sudden death.

I frequently run across people that find themselves having had to bounce back from adversity, they are encountering challenges, attacks on finances, families, health, hopes, dreams, efforts. We have heard the scripture so many times "Be still and know that I am God", many times we go directly to the "know that I am God" part looking for what He is going to do, while we watch the clock wondering, when He is going to do it. We get so enthralled in our own world that we run completely past the "Be still" part which is OUR instruction.

We must be still because... life moves so fast that we can get caught up in the flow of life (cares of this world) and miss the leading of God.
